Suicidal Tendencies have named Xavier Ware as their new drummer, following the recent departure of Jay Weinberg.

The band announced the lineup change in a social media statement posted Friday, January 23, expressing enthusiasm about Ware’s addition and teasing further announcements from both Suicidal Tendencies and Cyco Miko in 2026 and beyond.

The current Suicidal Tendencies lineup features vocalist Mike Muir, lead guitarist Dean Pleasants, rhythm guitarist Ben Weinman of The Dillinger Escape Plan, and bassist Tye Trujillo.

Ware, who has been playing drums since early childhood, previously performed extensively in North Carolina, including stints in all-state jazz ensembles and live work throughout the Triangle region.

Fans will see Ware make his live debut with the band at the upcoming ShipRocked Cruise, marking Suicidal Tendencies’ third appearance on the festival.
