During a March 18 appearance on SiriusXM's Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, Taylor Momsen discussed the band's upcoming fifth studio album, Dear God.
The album is set to arrive June 26 via Fearless Records.
Momsen explained that the recording process took longer than anticipated due to scheduling conflicts and life getting in the way.
She emphasized the importance of time in songwriting, stating it takes inspiration striking and for her and guitarist Ben Phillips, who also produces the album, to piece everything together.
Momsen revealed she tries to find moments to disconnect from the world and has found solace in crochet, a new obsession that brings her meditative calm.
The band's latest single When I Wake Up was released earlier this month, featuring a punk-driven sound and explosive guitars.
Dear God will include chart-topping single For I Am Death and other tracks by THE PRETTY RECKLESS.
THE PRETTY RECKLESS will embark on its all-new headlining tour in support of the album, kicking off in North America and concluding in Europe after wrapping up the two-year-long AC/DC trek.
The band's recent milestones include an acclaimed performance at the MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala, honoring Mariah Carey alongside Foo Fighters, and a Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame appearance with Soundgarden.
Momsen also released her holiday EP Taylor Momsen's Pretty Reckless Christmas, which features revamped Where Are You Christmas?
