A new technical metal supergroup has emerged in the form of Void Sector Zero, featuring musicians Gabe Seeber (guitar) from Vale of Pnath and Abigail Williams fame, Christian Muenzner (drums) formerly of Obscura, and Alex Weber (bass) from Revocation.
Their debut album is reportedly complete, with further announcements expected soon.
In a message to fans, the band shared: "First post.
Welcome everyone.
This page is a bit naked right now, but our debut album is finished and a lot is happening behind the scenes." The group cites influences ranging from Coroner and Holy Moses to Cynic and Death.
Guitarist Seeber hints at their style, blending complex musicianship with aggressive thrash foundations, noting progressive and fusion guitar influences like Allan Holdsworth and Tony MacAlpine.
Drummer Muenzner expressed excitement about the album, stating: "The Void Sector Zero album is mixed and wrapped up and I could not be happier with how it all turned out.
Technical Thrash/Death Metal hybrid with elements of neoclassical metal, progressive metal, jazz/fusion and Shrapnel era style solos.
