TESTAMENT frontman Chuck Billy recently spoke about the band's creative process, revealing that founding guitarist Eric Peterson and drummer Chris Dovas have already started working on new material.

In an interview with Graham and Kato of "The Pit" radio show, Billy stated that Peterson and Dovas have been collaborating on songwriting for TESTAMENT's next record since they joined the band in 2023.

They've already got six to eight tunes almost ready to go, with plans to enter the studio by summer or fall of 2027.

This is a relatively quick turnaround compared to some other bands, but Billy notes that he doesn't have any plans for retirement and wants to keep making music with his current lineup.

TESTAMENT's latest album, "Para Bellum", was released in October 2025 via Nuclear Blast.

The band will embark on their "Thrash Of The Titans" world tour later this month, alongside OVERKILL and DESTRUCTION.
