Finnish goth rock band THE 69 EYES has released a new single, "Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica)", available now via BLKIIBLK, the heavy metal imprint of Frontiers Label Group. The track, originally featured on their 2000 album "Blessed Be", is being reissued as a preview of an upcoming acoustic record set for early 2027. The single was mixed by Matt Hyde, known for his work with SLAYER and DEFTONES, and most recently for mixing MEGADETH's 2026 self-titled album. The music video was filmed at Suomenlinna in Helsinki and directed by Elias Ryynänen, featuring models Corinna Puleo and Lotte Vainio in a turn-of-the-millennium gothic aesthetic.

THE 69 EYES will launch a nationwide concert hall tour in Finland in February 2027, showcasing full acoustic arrangements of their classic songs. The tour marks a shift from their previous global touring schedule, during which they played 89 shows in 22 countries over a single year. The band confirmed the acoustic tour as a deliberate move to explore a new live experience, following years of nonstop performances.

Formed in Helsinki in 1989, THE 69 EYES have maintained their original lineup for over three decades and have released thirteen albums, achieving gold and platinum status in Finland. Their biggest hit, "Lost Boys" from 2005, remains a staple of Halloween rock playlists. The band continues to blend goth and glam rock elements, maintaining a loyal following in a genre increasingly overshadowed by modern music trends.
