Australian metal band The Amity Affliction has been dealing with a significant financial burden, having carried around $646,000 AUD in debt last year.

According to recent reports from Blunt magazine, the band implemented a formal debt restructuring plan to alleviate this burden.

The plan involves regular payments over nearly three years and was signed off by both frontman Joel Birch and former bassist Ahren Stringer, who remains co-owner and director of the company behind the band despite his departure.

A portion of the report states, "To manage that, both Birch and Stringer signed off on a restructuring plan that will see the company make regular payments over nearly three years." This setup suggests The Amity Affliction doesn't have the flexibility to make big financial moves quickly, but it does not imply their disappearance.
