In a recent interview with Chile's Futuro radio, THE HALO EFFECT frontman Mikael Stanne discussed the possibility of touring South America in the near future.
When asked about any upcoming tour plans, he stated, "No real plans right now, but we are working on our third album, which should be out by the end of this year." This will likely coincide with a proper tour schedule for the band.
Stanne also shared his enthusiasm for working with his THE HALO EFFECT bandmates, calling it a passion project among friends.
Regarding his relationship with his bandmates, Stanne mentioned, "It's super fun.
I mean, it really is like a passion project among friends." He expressed excitement about their new album, saying one song he heard sounded fantastic.
This upcoming release will feature the talents of THE HALO EFFECT members Jesper Strömblad (guitar), Daniel Svensson (drums), Peter Iwers (bass), Niclas Engelin (guitar), and Stanne (vocals).
The band released their self-titled EP "We Are Shadows" in November, featuring cover songs picked by each member.
Their second album, "March Of The Unheard", came out in January 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Following the release of this album, THE HALO EFFECT embarked on its first headline tour in Europe with PAIN as special guests and BLOODRED HOURGLASS supporting.
The band's debut album, "Days Of The Lost", topped the Swedish chart in summer 2022 at position No. 1 and landed at No.6 in Germany.
This marked a significant achievement for the metal act.
