Third Man Records, in partnership with Experience Hendrix and Legacy Recordings, has announced the latest entry in their archival audio series, The Vault.

Jimi Hendrix's Valley Of Jams 1969-1970, the 67th release, will be a landmark anthology of improvisational recordings.

The collection will feature three LPs pressed on vibrant 180-gram colored vinyl at Third Man Record Pressing in Detroit, MI.

Each subscription for Vault #67 is available now through January 31 at midnight (CT) exclusively at thirdmanrecords.com/vault.

Jimi Hendrix's prolific creativity during his brief time in the spotlight is highlighted in Valley Of Jams 1969-1970, particularly focusing on the transition period when Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding of the Experience began to depart, making way for Billy Cox on bass and Buddy Miles behind the drums.

The recordings span multiple sessions in New York and London, showcasing Hendrix's improvisational artistry.

Highlights include 'Slow Version,' a groove-driven rock explosion, and the scintillating pairing of 'Cherokee Mist/Astro Man.' The 28-minute tour-de-force exploration of 'Keep On Groovin'' deftly combines various styles.

The album was mixed by legendary engineer Eddie Kramer, who spent considerable time with Hendrix during these jam sessions.
