Three Days Grace has confirmed it is in the early stages of writing a new record, set to begin in 2026.

The band, which reunited in 2025 with original frontman Adam Gontier, will take a brief break after the release of its 'Alienation' album in August 2025.

The follow-up project will be developed after a planned two-month hiatus, with recording activities scheduled to start in the coming year.

The announcement follows the band's first full show with Gontier in 12 years on February 25, 2025, at Ford Idaho Center Arena in Nampa, Idaho, during DISTURBED's 'The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour'.

The performance marked the return of Gontier to the band, which had been without him since 2013.

Gontier initially left the group citing health issues, though he later clarified that his departure was to pursue new creative projects, not related to addiction.

The band's current lineup includes Adam Gontier on vocals, Matt Walst on vocals, Neil Sanderson on drums, Brad Walst on bass, and Barry Stock on guitar.

The group previously performed two classic tracks from their 2006 album 'One-X' during a 2023 concert in Huntsville, Alabama, as part of a reunion appearance with SHINEDOWN.

Three Days Grace was formed in 1992 as Groundswell before reuniting in 1997 as a two-singer act.

The band has since released multiple albums, including 'One-X', which features songs influenced by Gontier's 2005 rehab experience.

No official tour dates or supporting acts have been announced for the new record development phase."
