Styx drummer Todd Sucherman has unveiled his latest art collection, "Rhythm Apparition," in collaboration with the Los Angeles-based art collective SceneFour.
The collection features five pieces, each capturing a moment of performance frozen in light and motion.
Using advanced light-capture technology, Sucherman transforms every beat into striking visual compositions where every strike reflects the energy, nuance, and precision of his musical expression.
Each artwork is personally signed and numbered by Todd in his private drum room and includes his handwritten “Drum Nation” inscription, making it a rare and meaningful piece for both drummers and fine art collectors.
The collection will be available through SceneFour, offering collectors a unique opportunity to own a fusion of musical performance and contemporary visual art.
Sucherman comments: “This project has been an amazing journey,” said Sucherman.
“As a drummer, rhythm is my world, but collaborating with SceneFour allowed me to see rhythm take shape visually.” The collection joins other notable releases from SceneFour, which include collaborations with legendary drummers Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), Rick Allen (Def Leppard) and Dave Lombardo (Slayer).
SceneFour has released more than 60 collections and is most notable for the conceptual and release of “rhythm-on-canvas” artwork, a process where drummers create abstract work with SceneFour based upon their movement behind the drum kit.
The collective will release new collections in 2026.
