Brazilian extreme metal band Torture Squad has dropped a gripping music video for their song "Buried Alive," taken from their latest album Devilish, released in September 2023 via Italian label Time To Kill Records.

The video's dark and gritty visuals reflect the raw intensity of the track, which draws from crossover hardcore influences.

Directed by Rodrigo Borrero at São Paulo's legendary skate park Pista de Skate da Saúde (Saúde Ramps), the video highlights the connection between music and skateboarding as powerful outlets for expression.

Torture Squad vocalist Mayara Puertas shares the emotional background behind the song, which was written during a panic attack episode.

The band's drummer and founder Amílcar Christófaro reflects on the special bond between skate culture and metal music, referencing Suicidal Tendencies videos that inspired their own work.
