Legendary Canadian rockers TRIUMPH have kicked off their first tour in more than 30 years, featuring a revamped lineup with guitarist Phil X and drummer Brent Fitz.

The tour celebrates the band's 50th anniversary and includes support from APRIL WINE.

Formed in Mississauga in 1975, TRIUMPH rose to fame through their virtuosic musicianship and high-production live shows.

The band has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and earned multiple gold and platinum certifications.

With hits like "Lay It on The Line", "Magic Power" and "Fight The Good Fight", TRIUMPH became arena rock legends, securing a permanent place in Canadian and international rock history.

The tour, which started April 10 in Orlando, Florida, will run through June 10 in Laval, Quebec.

TRIUMPH's return to the road follows a defining year honoring their impact across generations.

In June 2025, the band was celebrated with "Magic Power: All-Star Tribute To Triumph", a tribute album featuring rock luminaries like Phil X and Sebastian Bach.

Further solidifying their celebrated status, TRIUMPH was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame in October.

The induction adds to their long list of accolades, which includes membership in the Canadian Music Industry Hall Of Fame and Canada's Walk Of Fame.

TRIUMPH kicked off their tour with Rik Emmett and Gil Moore discussing the band's legacy and future plans on an appearance on SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk".

In a conversation that touched on the band's 50th anniversary, Emmett reflected on how good it feels to be back playing music.

The original members Emmett and Moore were joined by guitarist Phil X, drummer Brent Fitz and bassist Todd Kerns for the tour.

Original TRIUMPH bassist Mike Levine is not taking part in most of the 2026 tour dates after revealing he has a hand injury that prevents him from playing well.

TRIUMPH's return to the road marks a triumphant moment for Canadian rock history, with fans eagerly anticipating their live performances.

The band's legacy continues to inspire new generations of musicians and music lovers alike."
