In an interview with Australia's The Rockpit , TRIXTER guitarist/vocalist Steve Brown confirmed that a new studio album from the band is in the works.

In the conversation, he mentioned that they are about 75% done with it and have around 14-15 songs worked up.

The problem with making records, according to Brown, is finding time to finish them amidst other commitments.

He expressed excitement about the progress of their songwriting sessions for a new album, stating that they have "some stuff in the works" and have started filming documentary footage about the band's journey together.

Regarding TRIXTER's current lineup situation, Brown mentioned that he and bassist P.J.

Farley are the only members from the classic lineup still actively touring with the band.

He acknowledged that it's not the perfect situation but emphasized the bond between him and Farley that keeps them going despite some members' different priorities.

When looking ahead to what's coming next from TRIXTER, Brown expressed optimism about their future prospects.

He believes that when people hear the new music, they will be blown away, citing his excitement about the progress of the songwriting sessions for a new album.

He also mentioned working on a documentary about P.J.

and himself, which will accompany the new record.

TRIXTER has been active in the music scene for over three decades, releasing five major label albums and touring extensively across the United States, Canada, and Japan.

The band has performed alongside rock superstars such as KISS, SCORPIONS, POISON, TED NUGENT, NIGHT RANGER, CINDERELLA, TWISTED SISTER, DOKKEN, WARRANT, GREAT WHITE, and FIREHOUSE, with their music drawing inspiration from classic rock bands like VAN HALEN, KISS, CHEAP TRICK, BON JOVI, and DEF LEPPARD.

With the new album on the horizon, fans can look forward to hearing what TRIXTER has in store.
