Despite being their hometown, Trouble had never played the Chicago club called Reggies until headlining the final night of the Legions Of Metal festival.
As such, they took the crowd on a career retrospective.
In addition to Trouble, Saturday featured a dozen acts, split between the main stage and the smaller restaurant/bar hangout, called The Joint.
Even though it was the third time Iād seen the young thrashers in Void, they continue to impress.
Fresh off signing with Metal Blade, their A&R guy was in attendance, surely big things await this band that has the sound, look and drive.
Other standout acts included Wanted, who impressed despite being somewhat reminiscent of classic Dokken, but harder than that band ever was.
Bands from across the country performed, including Battle Chapel, Thunder Forge, Breakker, Blind Oath, and Greenbriar.
The festival will be covered in further detail soon.
