Tygers Of Pan Tang have released their new studio album titled "Electrifyed". The album marks the band's first original material since 2018 and features vocalist Jacopo "Jack" Meille, who has been fronting the group since 2004. The record showcases a blend of modern New Wave Of British Heavy Metal with roots in the band's classic 1980s sound.
The title track includes a spoken-word intro referencing America's use of the electric chair, while tracks like "A Shadow On Fire" and "The Nail" draw on pub rock and rockin' energy reminiscent of the band's early years. "The Fight Goes On" features twin guitar harmonies, and "Dark Skies" combines menacing riffs with an airy chorus. The album closes with "Revenge Is Sweet", a track built on broad power chords and layered vocal performances.
The release comes at a pivotal moment for the band, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2028. Despite a period of commercial struggle following the release of "The Wreck-Age" and "Burning In The Shade", "Electrifyed" reaffirms Tygers Of Pan Tang's enduring presence in the heavy metal landscape. The album is available now through the band's official channel.
