In a recent interview with Loaded Radio, Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly reveals that he recently discovered some old cassettes containing demo recordings from the band's early days.
Among these is a song recorded during the October Rust sessions but never officially released.
Said Kelly: “I would go to Josh’s house when we were working on the records.
This was back when cassettes were still being used for references and stuff like that.” Kelly notes that some of the unreleased material has been cannibalized, with parts winding up on other songs like ‘Life Is Killing Me.’ The drummer expresses enthusiasm about releasing this rare track as a bonus on an upcoming release, but cautions that it needs further work to sound its best.
Additionally, Kelly addresses some misinformation surrounding his bandmates, stating that they discuss and decide things together without any blockages from the rest of the group.
