Chrysalis Records is proud to announce the latest in their acclaimed UFO reissue series: the classic 1981 album, The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent.

Originally released on January 16, 1981, this pivotal album captures the band at a creative high point, blending soaring melodies, powerful performances, and Phil Mogg’s unmistakable voice.

A deluxe edition will be released on May 1, featuring a brand-new mix of the previously unreleased Live At The Hammersmith Odeon, recorded on January 29, 1981, by Brian Kehew.

Additionally, the set includes original 7” edits of the two singles “Couldn’t Get It Right” and “Lonely Heart,” as well as an alternative mix of album standout “It’s Killing Me.” The deluxe edition also comes with newly written liner notes by Michael Hann, featuring fresh interviews with Phil Mogg and Andy Parker, alongside a collection of previously unseen photographs from the era.

UFO's The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent (2026 Remaster – Deluxe Edition) is released on double CD and 3LP via Chrysalis Records on May 1.

The CD2 disc features Live At Hammersmith Odeon, London, 29th January 1981 – Newly Mixed *, with tracks like “Long Gone,” “Chains Chains,” “Lonely Heart,” “Cherry,” “Mystery Train,” “Only You Can Rock Me,” “Too Hot To Handle,” “Lights Out,” “Rock Bottom,” “Doctor Doctor,” and “Shoot Shoot.” The LP3 disc also features Live At Hammersmith Odeon, London, 29th January 1981 – Newly Mixed *.
