New York-based death metal band UNDEATH has released their debut single "Arterial Bombardment" via Relapse Records. The track, which features bassist Tommy Wall and was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Colin Marston, marks the band's first official release since signing with the label. It is described as a high-intensity death metal showcase that sets the tone for their upcoming musical output.
The band will tour Europe from October 8 to October 28, supporting SUFFOCATION, INGESTED, and ETERNAL. Following this, UNDEATH will perform 11 headline dates across Italy, Germany, and the U.K. from October 30, including a set at Damnation Festival's "A Night Of Salvation". The tour concludes with two sold-out shows in New York City at Saint Vitus, shared with labelmates PIG DESTROYER.
Formed in Rochester, New York in 2018, UNDEATH has built a reputation for extreme metal performances. Their discography includes the Billboard-charting album "It's Time... To Rise From The Grave" (2022) and the 2024 release "More Insane". The 2022 album earned a cover feature in Decibel magazine and was named "Best New Music" by Pitchfork.
The band has performed over 250 shows, sharing the stage with acts including EXODUS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, and SUFFOCATION. They have played major festivals in the U.S., Denmark, the Netherlands, and the U.K., with guitarist Kyle Beam owning a Dunable Guitars signature model, the Skeletonizer.
