Coca-Cola has released a new animated promo video featuring a reworked version of the Van Halen classic, “Jump”.
Guitar legend Steve Vai provided guitars for the track, which can be seen below.
The clip showcases a superhero-themed animation with Vai and other musicians.
Vai shared his reaction to the project: “I never know what might come across my desk as an inquiry, but this was a taker.
I received a reach out from the musical production team at Coca-Cola working on their anthem for the FIFA World Cup 26, with a request to play a solo on this year’s song.” Vai notes that some of the track's featured musicians are J Balvin (vocals), Amber Mark (vocals) and Travis Barker (drums).
A recent video shot by Daniel Gäthke at NAMM 2026 offers a first look at Vai's signature PIA Gold Flame model guitar.
In the clip, Vai comments on his new instrument: “Jack Butler had a head cutting duel with Midas and won.
Welcome the new and extraordinary David Bonvillain Ibanez gold flame PIA.” The guitarist expresses gratitude to David Bonvillain for his artistic techniques and thanks Ibanez for being consistent.
The Gold Flame guitar is a limited-edition model featuring hand-applied and burnished 24k gold leaf, enhanced with freehand pinstriping.
According to an Ibanez comment, the instrument will be released in a run of approximately 100 pieces later this year.
Price has yet to be announced.
