Danish melodic death metal warriors Vanir have launched the opening salvo of their next campaign with 'Never Surrender,' the first single from their upcoming album Wyrd.

Inspired by the Battle of Vienna in 1683, 'Never Surrender' tells a story of defiance and sacrifice from the perspective of those who stood against overwhelming odds.

The album's visual core is brought to life by artist David Troest, whose dramatic cover artwork depicts the Winged Hussar, one of history's most fearsome war machines, set against the legendary Battle of Vienna.
