Melbourne-based melodic metal band Vanishing Point has released the first single from their seventh studio album, Eremition, titled "Bring Me The Night.", The track, which draws on 1980s AOR influences, is described as high energy and melodic, reflecting the band's signature style. Eremition is set for worldwide release on November 20, marking a six-year gap since their previous album, Dead Elysium.

The album explores themes of loss, personal growth, and emotional release, with the band emphasizing that quality over quantity has always been their guiding principle. Vanishing Point have maintained a deliberate release schedule since their 1997 debut album, In Thought, resulting in a catalog that has earned them international recognition.

The band has toured extensively across Europe, Japan, the USA, and beyond, sharing stages with Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Joe Satriani. They were the first unsigned Australian band to perform at Wacken Open Air.
