Iconic black metal band VENOM celebrated the 45th anniversary of their classic debut album, 'Welcome To Hell', earlier tonight (Tuesday, June 23) at Parksnäckan in Uppsala, Sweden.

Fan-filmed video of the concert can be seen below.

The show featured guest musicians including Adam "Nergal" Darski and David Vincent.

The band's iconic co-founders Jeff 'Mantas' Dunn and Anthony 'Abaddon' Bray reunited to celebrate the album's enduring legacy.

Dunn and Bray spoke about their decision to play the VENOM music together again, stating that they were simply celebrating the band's history and influence on the metal scene.

They emphasized that this was not a reunion or a revival of the classic lineup.

The duo explained that they had chosen to reteam for these shows right now to celebrate 'Welcome To Hell', 45 years of that album.

Dunn and Bray acknowledged that VENOM has had many lineups over the years, including their most recent collaboration with bassist/vocalist Tony Dolan as part of VENOM INC.

However, they emphasized that this particular lineup was a unique tribute to the band's history.

The show was attended by many fans who appreciated the opportunity to see Dunn and Bray perform together again.

Despite controversy surrounding the use of the VENOM name, Dunn and Bray stated that they were simply celebrating the band's enduring legacy and its influence on the metal scene.

Mantas said: 'We're not doing it because we want to revive or recreate anything.' This is a celebration of the music and the history of VENOM.

We've got some special guests who are going out there and celebrating this band with us.' Abaddon added, 'This isn't about Cronos or Tony Dolan, or any other members.

It's just about Mantas and I coming together to celebrate our part in VENOM's history.'
