Enigmatic Swedes Vintersorg will perform on the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2027 cruise, marking their first live appearance in the USA in over 25 years. The festival, set to sail from Miami, FL to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and back from January 14 to 18, 2027, will feature two distinct sets during Vintersorg's performance. One will showcase material exclusively from their first three albums, while the other will be determined by fan voting.
Starkill will also debut the majority of their forthcoming album, Hanging Up My Halo, during a live performance on the cruise. This will be the first time the album is played live.
Additionally, Orphaned Land will present their Exclusive Orchestra Show for the first time outside the Middle East, a performance described as worth crossing oceans for.
The 2027 lineup includes 30 of the 60 total bands, with notable acts such as Arch Enemy, Exodus, and Primal Fear confirmed. Finnish band Wolfheart will perform a world premiere of their upcoming album during the cruise, with footage to be included in an upcoming music video.
Only 3,000 tickets are available for the event, continuing the festival's tradition of fostering a global heavy metal community. The full lineup and ticket information are available at 70000tons.com.
