Canadian progressive metal innovators VOIVOD are teaming up with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra (Orchestre Symphonique De Québec) to release a special live collaboration titled 'Symphonique' worldwide via Century Media Records on June 5, 2026.

The album showcases VOIVOD's pioneering futuristic metal merged with strains of a symphony orchestra and features a carefully curated setlist of best-of songs recorded live on June 4, 2025 at the Grand Théâtre in Québec City.

The band shares their first single 'Forgotten In Space (Symphonique)', alongside an official visualizer created by Cloud Motion Design.

VOIVOD's drummer Michel "Away" Langevin comments: "This live album with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra is a longtime dream turned reality." The drummer adds that the collaboration came about through a chain of circumstances involving his cousin Richard Langevin and band member Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain, who previously wrote an eight-minute arrangement for brass quintet.

The setlist includes songs like 'Holographic Thinking' and Pink Floyd's cover song 'Astronomy Domine'.

The album is available worldwide via Century Media Records on June 5.

VOIVOD played two shows with the Orchestre Symphonique De Montréal on January 29, 2025 and January 30, 2025 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal Quebec.

The band's drummer Michel Langevin comments that he has been dreaming about this collaboration forever.

VOIVOD previously released their latest album 'Morgöth Tales' via Century Media Records, the Orchard, and Sony Music.

Their long-awaited official documentary 'We Are Connected', received its world premiere on July 29, 2024 at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal Quebec.

The film covers VOIVOD's history from unlikely origins in northern Québec to underground success and their groundbreaking global journey.\
