Thirty-three years after their first live performance, Voyage 35 will revisit the music of Porcupine Tree's early era with a new release.
The band, led by former members Colin Edwin and John Wesley Dearth, has crafted an eight-minute reinterpretation of one of the standout tracks from their debut album.
This sprawling track channels the hazy magic of Porcupine Tree's earliest sound, blending '60s and '70s space rock with bedroom psychedelia to create a drifting, hypnotic soundscape.
The release is out on April 3, accompanied by an accompanying video.
In a recent interview with Louder Sound, Edwin reflected on the band's early material, stating that "there is so much love for the early Porcupine Tree material, and many people have expressed a desire to hear it again." Dearth echoed this sentiment, expressing excitement about performing these songs live.
Voyage 35 will embark on an extensive European tour in September, reuniting with the legendary Fruit Salad Lightshow.
The tour includes stops in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.
A special guest appearance is planned for fans attending the London show.
