In a new interview with Argentinean rock journalist Lucas H.

Gordon, Wendy Dio spoke about the current status of the officially sanctioned Dio tribute band DIO DISCIPLES.

The group, which features Simon Wright on drums and Bjorn Englen on bass, has been touring Ronnie's music to keep his memory alive.

According to Wendy, the new lineup will also include Scott Warren on keyboards, Oni Logan and Robin McAuley on vocals, and Rowan Robertson on guitar.

They plan to tour extensively throughout Europe and South America next year.

Wendy also discussed various Dio-related projects that are currently in the works, including previously unreleased material and a live show from 1983 that has never been released before.

She mentioned that they have some unreleased tracks and love songs recorded by Ronnie James Dio that she would like to put out eventually.

This year's "Rock For Ronnie" concert in the park benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, featuring fan favorite Lita Ford and her band, tribute bands LED ZEPAGAIN and WHOLE LOTTA ROSIES, and more.

The event is billed as a 'celebration of the music and legacy of Ronnie James Dio.'
