In a new interview with Mark Strigl, EVANESCENCE drummer Will Hunt discussed his time playing drums for GODSMACK during their spring 2025 European tour.

When asked if he will rejoin the band for their upcoming "The Rise Of Rock" world tour, Hunt stated that it wouldn't work out due to scheduling conflicts between his own band's schedule and GODSMACK's.

However, he expressed love for playing with Sully Erna and the rest of the band, citing a challenging but fun gig.

GODSMACK has announced their return to the road in spring 2026, featuring special guests STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and DOROTHY, with live dates set across the US and Canada.,Hunt also touched on his own time playing drums for WRATHCHILD before joining UGLY KID JOE.

He emphasized his respect for GODSMACK's past members Shannon Larkin and Tony Rombola, who departed from the band last year due to personal reasons and a desire to live a simpler life away from touring.

The band has already begun exploring new directions, with bassist Robbie Merrill mentioning no permanent decisions have been made regarding replacements for Larkin and Rombola.,GODSMACK's latest album "Lighting Up The Sky" was released in February 2023 via BMG, featuring the single "Surrender", which marked their first release since their globally acclaimed album "When Legends Rise".

The band has a long history with ERNA as its lead vocalist and guitarist.",
