After a breakout year lighting up some of Europe’s most revered heavy music stages, Norwegian black metal provocateurs Witch Club Satan are crossing the Atlantic for the first time.
The band has announced their inaugural North American headline tour, Founding of the North American Coven, running May 27–June 16 across 16 dates in the U.S. and Canada. Support on the tour comes from Penelope Trappes and Patriarchy.
Tickets go on general sale Friday, January 30 at 10am local time.
The band says the timing feels right to bring their ritual overseas:
“We have been invited by countless fans, asking us to come to the United States. Being welcomed is a big deal to us—and our main reason to travel is to give an invitation in return. In times of division and chaos, we hope to offer a shelter and community within our coven.”
The itinerary includes Philadelphia’s Underground Arts (May 27, w/ Penelope Trappes), Prepare The Ground Festival in Toronto (May 29), Fairmount Theatre in Montreal (May 30, w/ Penelope Trappes), Sonia in Cambridge, MA (May 31, w/ Penelope Trappes), and additional dates across the continent.
Tickets are available here.
“We are preparing for a powerful ritual,” the band concludes.
