The annual Women In Music Canada Honours ceremony took place last night at Toronto's Queen Elizabeth Theatre, recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions of women in Canada's music industry.

The honourees were chosen from a pool of nominees who submitted themselves or had others nominate them for consideration.

This year's recipients included Elisapie as Artist Of The Year (Presented by Amazon Music), Bass Coast Festival organizers Stacey Forrester, Andrea Graham and Liz Thomson as Change Maker Of The Year (Presented by the National Arts Centre), Wednesday Management owner Laurie Lee Boutet as Entrepreneur Of The Year (Presented by Believe and TuneCore), Four Chords and the Truth Inc.'s Andrea England for Excellence In Live Music, Hill Kourkoutis for Excellence In Sound Production (Presented by Fearless Creative, Music Publishers Canada and National Arts Centre), Letters to the Future owner Miranda Mulholland as International Leader Of The Year (Presented by Loft Entertainment), Manitoba Music as Organization Of The Year, and Simone Denny, Sharon Hinds, Ava Kobrinsky, Sarah Lutz, and Patti-Anne Tarlton as Career Achievement Honour Recipients.

The evening's live performances featured Billianne, Annabel Oreste, DJ Me Time, DJ MelBoogie, and Simar.

Women In Music Canada executive director Robyn Stewart expressed gratitude towards the honourees, nominees, speakers, sponsors, and team members who made this event possible.

The organization aims to uplift women and gender-diverse individuals in the music industry through educational events, career development, networking opportunities, and advocacy.
