French black metal outfit WORM has made headlines this week with their massive album release, Necropalace.

The 10-track behemoth, set to drop on April 14th, sees the band tackle a range of styles including doom metal and death metal, but it's their black metal roots that truly shine through.

With an impressive production job courtesy of WORM's own Phantom Slaughter and guitarist Philippe "Wroth Septentrion" Tougas, Necropalace showcases the band's ability to blend cinematic excesses with brutal riffs and blastbeats.

Highlights include sprawling epics such as "Halls of Weeping" and "The Night Has Fangs", which balance schlocky vampiric majesty with authentic otherworldliness.

With guests like Marty Friedman lending their expertise, Necropalace is a must-listen for fans of blackened doom and death metal.

Rarely has an album been so aptly titled - this is indeed a necropalace of sonic excess.
