In a historic moment, Yungblud won the 2026 Grammy Award for "Best Rock Performance" with his live cover of "Changes," a song originally recorded by Black Sabbath in 1972.
The performance was featured on Ozzy Osbourne's final concert, Back To The Beginning, which took place at Villa Park in Birmingham, England on July 5, 2025.
Yungblud's rendition is a tribute to the legendary heavy metal band and its iconic vocalist, Ozzy Osbourne.
The all-star lineup backing Yungblud includes Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, Anthrax bassist Frank Bello, Sleep Token drummer II, and Black Sabbath/Ozzy keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
In his acceptance speech, Yungblud expressed gratitude towards Sharon (Osbourne's manager), Jack (Abrahams), Kelly (Buckley), Aimee (Lee), and the entire Back To The Beginning show team for making this performance possible.
Yungblud also honored Ozzy Osbourne during his acceptance speech, saying: "You do not expect to be up here and then you fucking are, so it's wild." He went on to thank everyone in attendance at the final show, as well as the entire band backing him.
Yungblud ended his speech by expressing love for rock music and dedicating his award to those who inspire him through their passion for heavy metal.

Proceeds from the single will go towards charities supported by Back To The Beginning, including Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorn Children's Hospice.
