Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Pantera) spoke about the significance of "Back To The Beginning", the final concert featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, on July 5, 2025.
According to Wylde, backstage was like a reunion of everyone who owes something to Ozzy.
"Yeah. Well, I mean the festival things have always been… are always cool in that regard anyway," he said.
"I mean you could be just going to the bathroom or going to get food. You run into like one of your buddies that you haven't seen in a while," he said, adding: "Or crew people that you've worked together, you know! It truly was a beautiful day." Wylde also mentioned seeing Ronnie Wood in the bathroom and running into other musical legends.
Black Label Society will kick off 2026 with Engines Of Demolition, their first studio album since 2021, out March 27.
The album features a mix of heavy hitters and personal tracks, including "Ozzy's Song", a heartfelt ballad dedicated to the man who started it all for Wylde.
Engines Of Demolition tracklisting includes "Name In Blood", "Gatherer Of Souls", "The Hand Of Tomorrows Grave" and more.
Black Label Society has announced their "North American Tour 2026", launching on February 27 in San Antonio, TX, and running through April 10 in Charlotte, NC.
