Heavy metal duo Butcher Babies have released the official music video for a new song called Black Dove.

The track was written by vocalist Heidi Shepherd and guitarist Henry Flury, with the video directed by Shepherd.

In a recent interview with Radioactive MikeZ, host of the 96.7 KCAL-FM program Wired In The Empire, Heidi spoke about Butcher Babies' plans to release a full-length album following the arrival of two previous singles via Judge & Jury Records.

She revealed that there will be a brand new Butcher Babies album this year, stating it is finished and they've been working on it for some time.

When asked about their upcoming album's lyrical inspiration, Heidi explained that many of the songs touch on early-life moments she has never spoken about publicly, including her marriage and divorce.

The lyrics are deeply personal and autobiographical in nature.

Butcher Babies' new LP will feature a mix of melodic songs and brutally heavy tracks, with even their previous singles hitting hard live.

The instrumentation was crafted by multi-platinum producer Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace at West Valley Recording Studios in California.

Judge & Jury Records is a powerhouse record label founded by Benson and Sanderson.

The band's upcoming album marks Heidi's return to sharing deeply personal themes through their music, after her recent social media posts hinted at the project's existence.

With their new single Black Dove already available, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Butcher Babies' highly anticipated full-length album.
