Keyboardist Derek Sherinian has been honored as the "Best Keyboardist" in Japan's Burrn! Magazine Readers' Poll for the fourth consecutive year, tying him with legendary Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord.

This achievement comes after a recent sold-out headlining show at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan with Schenker and Sherinian performing together.,Sherinian has received major international recognition for his playing, including being voted "Greatest Keyboardist of the 21st Century" by MusicRadar.

The magazine also ranked him #8 "Greatest Keyboardist of All Time," while Prog Magazine listed him as #9 Greatest Keyboardist of All Time.

His versatility and aggressive keyboard approach have earned praise from musicians such as David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes.,Beginning his professional career with Alice Cooper in 1989, Sherinian has toured and recorded with KISS, Dream Theater, Yngwie Malmsteen, Billy Idol, and Whitesnake.

He has released nine solo albums and co-founded the progressive bands Planet X and Sons of Apollo.
