In a major development for what is already shaping up to be a true Year Of Metal, Serpent From Eden, the much-acclaimed California metal band featuring guitarist John “Gumby” Goodwin (Ozzy Osbourne, Ringo Starr, George Clinton), has announced the release of a new album - a tribute to fallen bandmate Nick Menza.

The drummer himself is featured on every single track.

For over 30 years, Gumby, Menza and bassist Darwin Ballard played together, building up an exemplary body of work whose entire story has already been told across no less than twenty “volumes” of documentary available on YouTube.

This new album marks the 10th anniversary of Menza's passing and will be released via Cleo Records.

The album features unreleased music from recording sessions over the years, with Gumby explaining that it was during this time that they stumbled upon enough material to create an entire new album with Menza playing drums on every song.

Serpent From Eden bandmates Pauli Infantino (vocals), James Yokoi (bass), and Chris Tracy (drums), as well as Darwin Ballard, will also be heard on the album, with special guests Chris Poland and fellow Megadeth-er David Ellefson contributing stellar performances.

The result is a standout collection of powerful, dynamic, and melodic hard rock music that pays tribute to Menza's musical legacy.

Gumby says it was while working on their own new album that they began sifting through old tapes in search of material to work on, but instead discovered enough tracks to create an entire new album with Menza featured throughout.

Released today, the band has also unveiled a new single, "Promises, Conspiracies, And Lies," which serves as the perfect introduction to what is to follow.

The song is now available for stream/download via OrcD, and fans can order on CD and Vinyl through Cleo Records.

In related news, the final solo album of original material by legendary Iron Maiden lead singer Paul Di'Anno has been released worldwide on BraveWords Records.
