THE BLACK CROWES Play Rare LED ZEPPELIN Cover During Forest Hills Stadium Concert

THE BLACK CROWES played a cover of LED ZEPPELIN's "The Rover" live for the first time ever during their concert Saturday (June 13) at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York.

The performance was part of THE BLACK CROWES' ongoing tour with WHISKEY MYERS.,Video of the performance can be seen below courtesy of Ghost Video on YouTube.

The song joins a list of non-Black Crowes covers that include STYX's "The Grand Illusion" and VAN HALEN's "Jump".,The Black Crowes' latest studio album, "A Pound Of Feathers", was released in March via Silver Arrow Records.,The touring lineup for THE BLACK CROWES' 2026 shows consists of Chris Robinson on vocals alongside Rich Robinson on guitar.

Joining them are keyboardist Erik Deutsch and drummer Cully Symington.

Guitarist Nico Bereciartua completes the group.

Bassist Sven Pipien is sitting out the tour and has been replaced by Mark "Muddy" Dutton, formerly with BURNING TREE.,In a statement to The News-Herald regarding their songwriting process for "A Pound Of Feathers", Rich Robinson said: "There are new songs on there that I would have never written before, like 'Doomsday Doggerel', 'Eros Blues' and 'High And Lonesome'.

We kind of went way back to our original roots." He also clarified their classification as a jam band.,THE BLACK CROWES were founded by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson.

The band makes music for the mavericks, playing rock 'n' roll that's hip-swinging and heavy, dirty and debonair, bluesy and ballsy, ecstatic and electrifying, and soulful and soaring.
