[Intro]
(I had a bit of a tough time with the rhythm of these chugs at first. I'm not sure how to formally count the
metre, but if you're struggling as well, you could try counting the open notes like this: 1 2 3 1 2 3 4
chuck-a-chuck 1 2 3 4 chuck-a-chuck 1 2 3, then the chord stabs. I found putting an accent on the last chug
before each chuck kinda helped too, even though Chris the Axe doesn't actually hit those notes harder. Looks
like the metre is in 4/4, but maybe the first few chugs are an annacrussis or something, making the whole
thing a bit awkward intially but then super fun.)

figures cutting through. Fingering for the figures was initially kinda twisty. I settled on using just two
fingers for Figure 1: my middle for the D and G strings, rolling it to mute the notes, and my index for the
B string. For Figure 2, I do the same thing but use my ring finger to fret the A note on the G string. You
play them one after the other twice, then go into the solo.)
