Frank Gerace & Cheryl Wanner (Dreamchild) are well-known composers & musicians, who have provided music for several theatrical productions in Boston. They're also known for the intensity of their own live performances, and use loops/samples, vocal techniques (ethnic ululation, flamenco flourish & operatic power) and unusual instrumentation to create music of ethereal nightmares and fever dreams.

Dreamchild’s original compositions include insane improvised vocal pieces, dark ambient and exotic soundscapes, delicate and eerie reveries, and theatrical and dramatic creations, inspired by historic or mythic themes. As for cover songs, they include: the band’s idiomatic and distinctive versions of Peter Gabriel’s “Here Comes the Flood” and Bauhaus’ iconic“Bella Lugosi’s Dead”; a dark tango from the Julie Taymor film Frida (sung in Spanish) - and even two well-beloved opera arias (one by Bizet, one by Saint-Saëns), with Cheryl singing both Mezzo-Soprano and Tenor roles in French, while Frank magically fashions lush orchestrations on VG-8 and VG-99 guitar. A multi-vocal, moody arrangement of a Tom Waits song and a darkly dramatic bit of the blues (originally sung by Bessie Smith) are both forthcoming in future releases...
