With a release date of June 5, A.A.

Williams has announced her new LP, Solstice, an emotionally charged venture that explores the impact of the world on someone's psyche and what it actually means to be resilient while still being vulnerable.

Accompanying the announcement of her forthcoming record, A.A.

Williams dropped a new single, "Hold It Together," with a music video to go in hand with the release.

Describing the single, Williams says: "Silence exists where you long for answers, a bleak fragility that you darenโ€™t disturb.

"Where beauty stood only the faintest glow remains, afraid of smothering it you shrink into a mould of your own making.

Your edges dulled, your features disappearing, you put on that brave face not knowing whether you do it to protect others or yourself.

You smile, you carry on, feeling everything, showing nothing." Her epic, folk-rooted heavy tones have encaptured audiences before, with her previous records Forever Blue (2020) and As The Moon Rests (2022) receiving critical acclaim, securing her a BBC session slot, and gaining her opening slots for Cult Of Luna, The Sisters Of Mercy, and more.

Additionally, her solo-covers collection that she recorded during the pandemic โ€“ Songs From Isolation โ€“ drew attention from Robert Smith of The Cure and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins.

Currently signed to Reigning Phoenix Music, an independent record label, Williams is already receiving praise for her upcoming work, and there is sure to be more on the way as spring comes.

In the meantime, you can pre-order Solstice here, and check out A.A.
