Industrial extreme metal pioneers Aborym have unveiled the first details surrounding their forthcoming studio album, Metachaos.

The band has now officially completed and mixed the record, which features a formidable cast of guest musicians and long-time allies.

For this new chapter, Aborym assembled a lineup that expands the sonic violence, claustrophobic atmosphere, and experimental spirit that have always defined the Aborym universe.

The guest lineup featured on Metachaos includes Patrick Mameli – founder, vocalist, and guitarist of Pestilence; Chris Cannella – former Deicide guitarist and current member of Malevolent Creation, Autumn's End, and Bloodmoon Ritual; Tommy Talamanca – Italian guitar virtuoso and keyboardist, producer, and sound engineer for Sadist; Noralf Venås – acclaimed guitarist of Helheim; and Tapio Wilska – iconic vocalist formerly of Finntroll.

Metachaos will also feature a special collaboration with Brisen (ex-Dungeon), among the pioneers of the Italian black metal underground during the early '90s.

"Aborym has always been about contamination, collision, and chaos," comment the band.

"The musicians involved in Metachaos are not just guests – they are artists and friends who helped us push the album into darker, harsher, and more unpredictable territories." Conceived as a ferocious return to the industrial extreme metal spirit of With No Human Intervention, Generator, Kali Yuga Bizarre, and Fire Walk With Us, Metachaos promises to be one of the most violent, disturbing, and uncompromising records in Aborym's history.
