Finnish metal legends AMORPHIS have confirmed a North American co-headline tour with melodic death metal pioneers INSOMNIUM, supported by U.S. melodic death/doom metal act HINAYANA. The tour kicks off on November 17 in Boston, Massachusetts at Paradise Rock Club and runs through December 19 in New York, NY at Irving Plaza. Major stops include Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, with performances at venues such as House of Blues, Magic Stick, The Masquerade, and The Regent Theater.
The tour coincides with the release of AMORPHIS's new full-length album, "Borderland," which dropped in September 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music. The record marks a pivotal chapter in the band's 35-year evolution, blending melodic depth and dynamic storytelling with a fresh creative direction born from their first collaboration with producer Jacob Hansen.
Meanwhile, INSOMNIUM has revealed their upcoming album, "Netherworlds," set for release on October 16, 2026 through Century Media. The album deepens the band's exploration of Finnish melancholy and emotional introspection, featuring sweeping atmospheres and poignant melodies crafted with the guidance of producer Miiro Varjus. The record was recorded at Fascination Street Studios and mixed by Jens Bogren with mastering by Tony Lindgren.
