ANTHRAX has revealed its long-awaited twelfth full-length studio album, "Cursum Perficio", set for release on September 18. The record will be available in multiple formats including standard CD, Target-exclusive CD with fabric patch, black double LP, red zoetrope double LP, purple zoetrope LP via Amazon, lilac vinyl through merch, white vinyl via Metal Injection, and a signed red ripple vinyl through Talk Shop Live. The album will also be offered in a red, orange, yellow vinyl edition via indie exclusives.

"Cursum Perficio" marks ANTHRAX's first studio release since 2016's "For All Kings", which debuted in the Billboard 200 Top 10. The band began working on the album in earnest in early 2022, recording at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles. The Latin phrase "Cursum Perficio" translates to "My journey has come to an end" or "I complete my journey.",

The band will celebrate the album's release with a late-night in-store signing at Guestroom Records in Louisville, Kentucky. The event follows ANTHRAX's performance at the Louder Than Life festival on September 17 and will take place beginning at 12:01 a.m. on September 18. Fans must pre-order the album directly from Guestroom Records to participate in the signing, with only pre-ordered copies eligible.

The band confirmed that several tracks from "Cursum Perficio" will be performed live, including new songs "It's For The Kids", "Everybody's Got A Plan", and "The Edge Of Perfection". A previously unreleased track, "NYC 93", which was recorded during a show at St. Vitus in Brooklyn, will also be included in the set. Scott Ian expressed interest in playing the songs "Infectious" and "Target On My Back" in future shows, with hopes of performing every track on the record by 2028.
