Anthrax will celebrate the release of their 12th full-length studio album, Cursum Perficio, with a late-night in-store signing at Guestroom Records in Louisville, KY.
The event follows the band’s performance at the city’s annual Louder Than Life festival on September 17 and will take place beginning at 12:01 AM on September 18.
The multi-Grammy® Award-nominated band, comprising Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, Frank Bello, Joey Belladonna, and Jonathan Donais, will be signing copies of the new album exclusively for fans who pre-order it through Guestroom Records.
Pre-orders are available via the store’s website and only those purchases will qualify for the signing.
Cursum Perficio marks Anthrax’s first record in ten years since 2016’s For All Kings, which debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
The title, derived from Latin, means ‘My journey has come to an end’ or ‘I complete my journey,’ a theme that resonates with the album’s scope.
The record was recorded in 2022 at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles and produced by Jay Ruston and the band.
It features tracks including "It’s For The Kids," "The Edge Of Perfection," "Everybody’s Got A Plan," and "NYC93.
The album will be available in multiple formats, including standard CD, Target exclusive CD with fabric patch, black double LP with pop-up gatefold, and limited vinyl editions from Amazon, Metal Injection, and indie partners.
A full tour schedule is available, with shows scheduled from September 3 in Montréal to October 2 in Mexico City.
The final solo album of original material by Paul Di’Anno, former Iron Maiden lead singer, is also now available on colored vinyl via BraveWords Records, though this is not directly connected to Anthrax’s release event."
