Anthrax has revealed the release details for their long-awaited 12th studio album, Cursum Perficio, set for September 18 via Megaforce Records.

The album marks the band’s first record in ten years since 2016’s For All Kings and features tracks including "Everybody’s Got A Plan," "The Edge Of Perfection," and "Infectious." The phrase Cursum Perficio, meaning "My journey has come to an end," is central to the album’s narrative and thematic scope.

The band will celebrate the release with a late-night in-store signing in Louisville, KY, immediately following their performance at the Louder Than Life festival on September 17.

The event will take place at Guestroom Records at 12:01 AM on September 18, with pre-orders required through the store’s website to qualify for album signing.

The release will be available in multiple formats, including standard CD, black double LP, and exclusive vinyl editions.

Anthrax has also announced a tour spanning North America and Latin America, beginning September 3 in Montréal, QC, and concluding October 2 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Key stops include Harrison, NJ, Los Angeles, CA, and San Antonio, TX.

The tour features performances at venues such as Parc Jean-Drapeau, Sports Illustrated Stadium, BMO Stadium, and the Alamodome.

To support the album, Anthrax has released a new music video for "Everybody’s Got A Plan," filmed during a July 7, 2026 performance in Lisbon, Portugal, while touring with Iron Maiden.

The video includes live performance footage and behind-the-scenes clips, with cutaways to vintage boxing footage that reflect the song’s central theme.

Additionally, the band has launched a series of uniquely animated short clips based on the album cover, with the first released on July 28 and new episodes released weekly until September 1, concluding with the story of the Hands character."
