Anthrax has released their long-awaited new album, Cursum Perficio, today. The record marks the band's first studio release since 2016’s For All Kings, which debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. The title, derived from Latin, means 'My journey has come to an end' or 'I complete my journey,' a thematic reflection on the band's career trajectory.

Cursum Perficio is available in multiple formats including standard CD, Target-exclusive CD with fabric patch, black double LP with pop-up gatefold, Amazon exclusive purple zoetrope double LP, merch exclusive lilac vinyl, Metal Injection exclusive white vinyl, Talk Shop Live signed red ripple vinyl, and Indie exclusive red, orange, yellow vinyl double LPs with pop-up gatefolds.

The album was recorded in 2022 at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles. Produced by Jay Ruston and Anthrax, it continues the band’s aggressive sound while drawing on their legacy.

The album features tracks including Persistence Of Memory, The Long Goodbye, It’s For The Kids, Everybody’s Got A Plan, The Edge Of Perfection, Infectious, NYC93, Cursum Perficio, T.O.M.B, Watch It Go, and My Victory. A music video for 'The Edge Of Perfection' is available.

Anthrax has announced a North American tour starting September 25 in Los Angeles at BMO Stadium, with shows on September 27 and 29 in Los Angeles and San Antonio, respectively. The tour continues to Mexico City on October 2 at Estadio GNP Seguros. Full tour dates follow.
