Finnish metallers Battle Beast have kicked off their tour in Tokyo, Japan, marking their first show with new singer Marina La Torraca.
The band's lineup change comes after the departure of longtime frontwoman Noora Louhimo last December.
In a recent interview with Metal Mal, Battle Beast bassist Eero Sipilä discussed the transition, stating that he was initially shocked by Louhimo's decision to leave but soon rallied around finding a new vocalist.
Sipilä revealed that Marina's name came up quickly in their search for a new singer, and she was flown over to Finland where she quickly settled into the role.
Despite not having much time to rehearse before the tour started, Sipilä expressed confidence in Battle Beast's ability to deliver a high-energy show.
Marina La Torraca brings her impressive vocal range and theatrical background to the band, having performed in professional musical theatre productions across German-speaking countries.
She also boasts experience as a graphic designer, vocal coach, producer, and songwriter.
In a statement announcing her arrival with Battle Beast, Marina expressed excitement about joining the band and promised fans an unforgettable experience.
Battle Beast's seventh studio album, "Steelbound", was released last October via Nuclear Blast, and their most European tour kicked off on October 17, 2025, with DOMINUM as special guests and Sweden's MAJESTICA opening for them.
The trek kept Battle Beast on the road until mid-December 2025.
