Deth Provider, a new death metal collective formed in the Bay Area, has released its self-titled debut album.

The project began in 2024 with raw phone-recorded riffs by rhythm guitarist Kenneth Dutton, who later recruited Herman Bandala and Chris Corona of Molten to help develop the music.

The search for a drummer led to Will Carroll of Death Angel, whose double bass work became foundational to the band's sound.

The album expanded from three initial songs to nine tracks, with each musician contributing vocals, guitar solos, or production.

The debut features contributions from Brandon Bristol, Dave Gorsuch, Matt Harvey, Andre Cornejo, and Andrew Lee, among other Bay Area extreme metal veterans.

The name Deth Provider originated from a comment by Forbidden bassist Matt Camacho during an appearance on Zetro’s Toxic Vault, which was suggested as a band name by host Steve Zetro.

Recorded and mixed by Chris Corona at Secret Studios in San Francisco, the album was mastered by Justin Weis at S.S.F.

Artwork was created by Chris Corona, with insert design by Dave Gorsuch and jacket and label designs by Hectic Records.

Deth Provider is available digitally and on 12" vinyl LP, with the digital version accessible at dethprovider.bandcamp.com/album/deth-provider and the vinyl at hectic.com.

The album includes tracks: Weaponized, Misanthropy, Hollowed, Lied into War, March of Decay, Walls Closing In, Cease to Be, Ignition, and Last Breath.
