Beast In Black has officially welcomed Finnish guitarist Markus Venehsalo into the band as its permanent guitarist. The addition comes as the group completes recording sessions for its fourth studio album, during which a second guitarist was needed to handle guitar solos. Venehsalo was selected after demonstrating a rare balance of speed, precision, melody, and expression, along with a distinct Eastern Finland sense of humor that resonated with the band. The decision to offer him the position followed an extensive evaluation of multiple candidates from Finland and abroad, with the band identifying Venehsalo’s 'Beast mentality' as a key factor in his selection. The guitarist will perform all lead guitar solos on the upcoming album.

Daniel Freyberg, who previously filled in on guitar during live shows, has stepped down from the band to focus on his full-time duties with Crownshift. Freyberg expressed gratitude for the global tour experiences and acknowledged the strong friendship that remains between him and Beast In Black. His departure marks a transitional period for the band, with Freyberg confirming Crownshift is currently working on a new album.
