Poland's most iconic heavy metal band Behemoth has just announced that their highly anticipated new album, titled ‘Threnody of the Black Depths,’ will be released on September 17th.

This follows the release of their critically acclaimed single, ‘Vovin’ in January this year.

As reported previously, Behemoth have been working tirelessly in the studio alongside their long-time producer Daniel Svartz.

Lead vocalist and founder Nergal has spoken about the album, stating: “We are not just making music for the sake of it; we are crafting an experience that will transport listeners to another realm.

The very essence of darkness and chaos is what makes us tick.” The album cover art, designed by longtime collaborator Zbigniew Mroziński, features a haunting image of Behemoth's iconic ‘Black Sun’ symbol engulfed in flames.

Pre-orders for the album are already available through various online retailers.
