BLACK VEIL BRIDES Confirm New Album In Progress
BLACK VEIL BRIDES have confirmed they are working on a new studio album following their 2021 release "Vindicate." Vocalist Andy Biersack revealed during a conversation with Rock Sound that the band has recorded new material and that he and guitarist Jake Pitts are 75% complete with the next record's songwriting. The band emphasized their commitment to producing music they consider their best work, stating they do not want another five-year gap between releases. According to Biersack, the creative process took several years to mature, with serious writing beginning in 2023 and the material coalescing by the end of 2024. The recording sessions took place throughout 2025. The follow-up to "Vindicate" is set to be released via Spinefarm. The band's lineup includes guitarist Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma. The new album marks a continuation of BLACK VEIL BRIDES' long-standing dedication to hard rock and theatrical expression, rooted in their origins as a gothic metal act from a small town. The group remains committed to delivering music they believe is authentic and powerful, with a focus on artistic integrity over commercial considerations. "Vindicate" has already received strong critical reception, with Kerrang! calling it "an exciting listen" and Blabbermouth describing it as "an exciting listen."
The band has not yet announced a release date or a tour in connection with the new album. However, the progress on the next record signals a return to consistent output after a five-year hiatus. BLACK VEIL BRIDES will continue to operate as a postmodern heavy metal institution with a global fanbase.
